Application for late start
If you have taken at least one semester of courses with us and want to join one of our Master's programmes, then you may want to apply to late start of Master's programme.
Application for late start of Master's programme enables students who are not in one of our programmes but is following the relevant courses to join the second term or second year of that programme.
Eligibility
To be eligible for late start you must:
- Meet the eligibility requirements for the programme for which you want to apply (see the programme page in the course catalogue)
- And completed courses at advanced level which are compulsory/elective within the programme of interest. That is to say you should have read the equivalent of students who have studied the first term of the programme.
Selection
Eligible students are ranked based on the motivation letter and research ideas. These are also completed as part of the application (below), and are assessed on how well they answer the questions within the given word limit.

- Application to join in the spring term is open December 1st - 15th.
- Application to join in the autumn term is open May 1st - 15th.
