Location:Department of Culture and Aesthetics, Frescativägen 24E
We are pleased to announce a seminar featuring Mareike Stoll, researcher and curator based in Berlin, and previously attached to the research group "Matters of Activity. Image Space Material", at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and the Weißensee Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin.
Mareike Stoll is this year’s Solkatten Fellow of the Astrid Lindgren Foundation. In her presentation, she will delve into her current research on photography in picturebooks, with a particular focus on the works of Karin Fryxell and Anna Riwkin-Brick.
Following the presentation, there will be a panel discussion where we will engage in a conversation about working with historic photographic materials, as well as the latest developments in photographic research.
This seminar will be of interest to those working in the fields of media studies, photography, children's literature and culture, and we invite all to join us for this event at the Department of Culture and Aesthetics, Fresactivägen 24, or via Zoom:
