The Department of Culture and Aestethics is situated on Frescativägen 22-26, at the campus area Frescati (the main campus of Stockholm University). Since Stockholm University is situated in Djurgården and the Royal National City Park, the Department is surrounded by beautiful nature and unique architecture.
The Manne Siegbahn buildings are three connected buildings with several entrances. This is a guide to the buildings, rooms and lecture halls.
Directions to the Manne Siegbahn buildings

Stockholm University Campus Frescati is within walking distance from the city centre. There are also an excellent cycle path here.

Campus can also easily be reached either by underground (the stop is Universitetet on line 14 to Mörby Centrum), by bus (no. 50 from central Stockholm or no. 540 from north and north-western suburbs), by train (Roslagsbanan) or by car (E4/18, Norrtäljevägen northbound).
From Arlanda Airport it is easiest to take the airport bus to the Central Station, a 30-minute ride, and then take the underground from there.

Walk the stairs straight ahead up to the piazza. Take left and follow the walk between the bicycle parkings, about 60 metres. You will find the department in the brick buildings on your right hand side.

Rooms and lecture halls in the Manne Siegbahn buildings
The rooms and lecture halls at Stockholm University are, with a few exeptions, named with letters and three digits. The letters and the first digit signifies which building and which floor the room is in. The next two digits signifies which room it is. So MSHA 119 is in the Manne Siegbahn buildings, house A, first floor, room 119. Most of the classes at the Department of Culture and Aestethics are given in the Manne Siegbahn buildings at Frescativägen 22B-26.
Frescativägen 24E, main entrance
- The Auditorium (Auditoriet) (room 215), house A, floor 2 (the entrance floor). Use the entrance at Frescativägen 24 D (at the side of the building). Availability: There is a ramp at the entrance.
- The Library (room 300), house A, floor 3. Use the entrance at Frescativägen 24E (at the front of the building).
Availability: There are only stairs at the front of the building, you can get to an elevator via Frescativägen 24 F. Take the stair lift to the first floor and change to the elevator to the third floor. - The Conference room (Konferensrummet) (room 328), house A, floor 3. Use the entrance at Frescativägen 24E (at the front of the building).
Availability: There are only stairs at the front of the building, you can get to an elevator via Frescativägen 24 F. Take the stair lift to the first floor and change to the elevator to the third floor. - Room 157, house A, floor 1 (the basement floor).

Frescativägen 24F
- Room 101, house A, floor 1 (the basement floor). Use the entrance at Frescativägen 24 F (at the front of the building).
Availability: Take the stair lift to the first floor. - Room 119, house A, floor 1 (the basement floor). Use the entrance at Frescativägen 24 C (at the back of the building).
Availability: There are only stairs at this entrance, you can get to an elevator via Frescativägen 24 F. Take the stair lift to the first floor. - Room 144, house B, floor 1 (the basement floor). Use the entrance to the left of Accelerator (the Stockholm University exhibition space).
Availability: Take the elevetor to the first floor.

Frescativägen 26
- Room 509, house C, floor 5 (the top floor) Use the entrance at Frescativägen 26 (there are entrances both at the front- and at the corner of the building). Availability: The elevetor is at the corner of the building.
- Room 508, house C, floor 5 (the top floor) Use the entrance at Frescativägen 26 (there are entrances both at the front- and at the corner of the building). Availability: The elevetor is at the corner of the building.
- Room 312, house C, floor 3 (the ground floor).
