The moot competition gives students the chance to enhance and practise their advocacy skills in the field of sports arbitration. It was established in 2021, and its first edition took place throughout November 2021 and April 2022.

Stockholm University was represented in SAM by a team of students from SULaw's LL.M. in International Commercial Arbitration Law: Crystal Nkrumah, Vincent Fach and Steffi Mary Punnose. Gelila Haile Diguma, Chandrika Sharma, and Palak Mishra were their coaches.

The final took place in person at the FIFA Headquarters in Zürich this past Friday, and was live-streamed on Youtube (see link below) After a very though and even competition against the highly skilled team from the University of Zürich, our team emerged as the winners of the competition.

We are grateful to Crina Baltag, Daria Kozlowska, Fabricio Fortese, Gorsha Sur, Daniel Visoiu, and Johan Lindholm for their support to the team in this outstanding educational experience.

Congratulations to all involved!
