Department history
The origin of the Department of Psychology is to be found in the inauguration of the Olof Eneroth professorship at Stockholm University Collage in 1937.
Young people with ADHD often find it difficult to deal with strong or difficult emotions. A recently published study investigated a new psychological treatment designed to help them improve their emotional regulation.
Due to the Christmas and New Year holidays, as well as specific deadlines set by the Examination Services, the last day to register for exams held in January is 17 December.
On 16 October, the international application round opens for education programs starting autumn 2026, including the International two-year master’s program in psychology, 120 ECTS credits. The application is only open during the international application round!
