ERG:s etnolog och docent i måltidsvetenskap debuterar i expertpanelen i det klassiska frågeprogrammet i Sveriges Television.

Bland annat berättar han om pastans svenska historia och hur den är på god väg att konkurrera ut potatisen på våra tallrikar.

Richard Tellström forskar om svensk matkulturhistoria och befattar sig bland annat med frågor om hur matens och måltidens kulturarv kommersialiseras i vår tid. 2024 kom hans bok "Varje tugga är en tanke: Svensk matkultur under 800 år" som nominerades till Augustpriset i kategorin Årets svenska fackbok.
