Basic statistical analysis (2,5 ECTS)
The course "Basic statistical analysis" (PH015F1) provides a practical introduction to statistical analysis. The course gives an overview of different types of descriptions and analyses of bivariate associations, including cross tables, scatterplots, correlation analysis, t-test, chi2, and regression analysis. After the course, the student will be able to perform simple statistical analyses and interpret the results from these.

Course content
The purpose of the course is to give the student a practical introduction to statistical analysis. This course is offered in collaboration with the Master’s programme in public health sciences: Societal and individual perspectives.
