Frequently asked questions on the Master´s Programme in Public Health Sciences: Societal and Individual Perspectives.

Here you will find the answers for the most commonly asked questions, e.g. in relation to the application process.
Does my degree subject make me eligible for the programme?
For eligibility we require an undergraduate (Bachelor equivalent) degree in any field. Please note that you also have to document a sufficient level English-language skills to be deemed eligible. See below for more information.
How do I meet the English language requirement?
The requirement is proficiency in English equivalent of the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
All applicants can meet the requirement with the required score on an internationally recognised English test. Upper secondary and university studies in some countries can also meet the requirement. What counts as relevant work experience?
As work experience counts paid or volunteer work at an authority, organisation or other workplace with relevance to public health sciences. Proof is required and should be uploaded via www.universityadmissions.se or www.antagning.se.
How can I verify relevant work experience?
By filling in the relevant section in the CV form as well as uploading an official certificate of verification from your employer (issued in English or Swedish). This should include your employer’s name, position and signature. If the work experience isn’t verified you will not get any merit points in the selection process.
Which documents are mandatory or recommended to upload?
Please note that some documents are required by universityadmissions.se to demonstrate your eligibility.
Apart from the documents mentioned above, are the following mandatory or recommended:
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Motivation Letter or Statement of Purpose
• Proof of Work, Volunteer, or Leadership Experience
• Letters of recommendation
Only the CV form and any proof of relevant work/research experience is required. The CV form requires you to explain your motivation, so no separate Statement of Purpose is necessary. Letters of recommendation will not be taken into account.
Where should I upload the required documents, e.g. the CV form?
All required documents must be uploaded via www.universityadmissions.se or www.antagning.se. You will find the section "Upload educational documents" under "My pages". Please do not send any documents directly to the Department of Public Health Sciences.
Which format do the required documents need to be in?
Documents such as diplomas and transcrips should be in original, in color and in readable condition. The CV form can be uploaded as a word or pdf file.
