Study Literature

Most of the courses in Literature are held in Swedish. We currently offer one first cycle (basic) course in the history of Swedish literature, as well as a Master's Programme in Literature, of 120 ECTS.

A History of Swedish Literature, 7.5 ECTS

The course aims at an overview of Swedish literature from the middle of the 18th century up to today. It touches on different aspects and genres of Swedish literature, starting with the more literary writings of the great early scientists Swedenborg and Linné, and then focusing on literature from the 19th and 20th centuries: Romanticism, Realism, Modernism.
